Challenges + Hack-a-thons
Challenges + Hack-a-thons
Challenges and hackathons are one-day or weekend events that bring together girls from across our program sites and partner schools using computer science to address a specific or pressing problem facing their communities. Participants brainstorm to generate ideas, and then divide into teams to work on and validate each idea, build a prototype to test their idea, and compete for prizes and awards.

Bootcamps + Workshops
Our bootcamps and workshops are half- or full-day introductory courses to computer science, designed to demystify "code", show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden interest and participation in the field of computer science.
